ROSA 2011, the answer to Picasso

Do not shrinking from audacity, the gallery Small Paper asked two contemporary artists, Moebius François Avril and give their response to a drawing by Picasso.

In the article by Charles-Louis Detournay on ActuaBD, Mark Breyne Small paper presents the project:

"Introducing the Picasso of the period known as" Musketeers "We wanted to show that cartoonists have a nice not so far from this great painter , explains Mark Breyne . "I found this idea a little absurd, while he understood very well the know the answer to embed the spirit of the gallery. Like any Picasso, the work was interesting, but it did not particularly particularly upset. For cons, I have directly seen this woman who was hiding with the pubic and reversed her breasts in her eyes. This may sound strange, but then I quickly sketched this vision, then come back and tell me that I could not make it. So I wanted to conceptualize something, mixing with other works from Picasso to my little characters, but it stuck so well. So I got carried away by my first idea: a snapshot of my graphic print! "
